Summary: does not deliver what it promises
Review: This is a beautiful book. However, it does not deliver what it promises. The author describes it as a celebration of 100 years of bridal fashion. However, in fact it is mostly an interpretation of fashions of the last 100 years through the lens of modern fashion. There are a few pages, for example, given to Edwardian fashions, and then what looks to me like a longer discussion of Edwardian styles as interpreted by modern designers with dresses worn by modern models.

it is clear that the author wanted to produce a book that was striking and different, not just the same old boring bride poses, and she succeeded. it is a beautiful book. The photographs are consistently excellent. But it is not what the author promised her audience...
