Review: aka Mr Fixit featured on WGN radio 720 am Chicago, Saturday mornings (wgnradio.com) I used to take notes of his brilliant responses to listeners calling in need of his assistance for building and remodeling projects.
Now, he's put it all together in a rather reasonably priced
book that tells you the hows and whys (value & asthetics) of using 1 material over another, putting something here instead of there, and in a very personable tone. No need to understand builders lingo to read this one! He talks to you, and not down to you!
