Review: I bought this scrapbook a few years ago when my eldest son was in pre-school. At the time, I figured it was pre-mature to buy one for my new baby. That was several years ago and I've been going crazy trying to find another one for my baby (now in Kindergarten!) My eldest is in 3rd grade now and it is so neat to look back and have one organized place for his school pictures, photos of friends and school events, birthday parties, halloween pictures etc. There is also room to keep report cards and other mementos. Best of all, my son loves it too and I know that someday when he is grown he will treasure it. Buy one for all of your kids! Also makes a neat gift.

Review: I first learned of this "not meant to be scrapbook" book in the Sept/October 2003 issue of Simple Scrapbooks magazine. This product could be awesome, but Janis Boehm should attempt to update the size of the book to a 12 x 12 format. Okay, so it was designed in 1997 before 12 x 12 was a standard size. But if the opportunity arises, consider tweaking the design. If all of the original non-12 x 12 books are sold out, considering changing the size between production-runs.

I'm impressed with the graphic design of this book, but structurally it could be improved upon to allow the pages to lie flat and to allow for non-side loading page protectors. And I find it curious that something with 60 blank acid free pages is "not meant to be a scrapbook."

Review: i love this book. i bought a copy in 1997 and was so afraid that i couldn't find it again. i am so happy you are selling this awesome book.
before i purchase my copy i would like to know if it is offered in other colors. if not i will still purchase it but i would prefer a different color for my son. the color purple is NOT the problem, I would just like differnt colors.
i would like to suggest multiple cover choices - you could offer 6 different colors so that a family could purchase one color for each child. choices i suggest: yellow, lime green, turquoise,orange,red, and of course purple
there is a flaw with the age screen, i cannot put in my age- 43.

Review: Please note that this album was designed before the scrapbook rage and before 12" x 12" was the definitive scrapbook size. This book was meant to replace the small 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" little sprial books for recording a child's school year. It was designed to hold an 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper in the pocket and provide more space for photos than just the one school photo. This book contains 10 durable laminated folders and 60 acid free scrapbook pages. This is a lot more than you'll find in most albums. It was designed as a memory keeper for the time challenged who wanted a way to store and organize a child's report cards, awards, programs and projects. It was never meant to be a scrapbook! However, side sliding protector pages which fit this album are available at major art and craft stores.

Review: This book is absolutely perfect for all those special events that happen during the school year. It has brightly colored, heavy pages and a section for each school year from Preschool to 8th grade. There's even a pouch for each year that allows you to store report cards, larger group photos, awards, etc. I was so impressed with this book that I ordered the companion book "High School Memories" even though my son will only be starting first grade in the fall!
