Review: As a lifelong Great Dane owner, I have read them all. This is by far the most complete book I have seen yet...and a joy to read. It will be included in all my puppy packets for future litters as the most complete "instruction manual" I could hope to find.

Review: I loved this book. I learned enough in the care section to save at least one trip to the vet (normal stuff that doesn't seem so - callouses for big dogs). This book was fun to read, in addition to being so informative. Great for better understanding my Great Dane.

I also really appreciated the balanced view - all the up and down side of owning a Great Dane from puppy to old age and death.
