Review: It may seen unusual for the AUTHOR of a book to review it, but I wrote this book in 1986 (with Louis & Susan Meisel) and it was published in 1988. There has only been one minor revision since. The pictures are superb, but naturally being 15 years old the TEXT is outdated. In 1999 I updated this book completely with 'Clarice Cliff the Art of Bizarre' (Pavilion Books) a far more comprehensive volume with about 35,000 more words, a MASS of new information, and a lot more archive images. I'm delighted 'Bizarre Affair' still sells, but any student using it is referring to outdated information. Leonard Griffin ~ Author
