Summary: This dachshund lover a little disappointed...
Review: This a small book already and unfortunately there is only one photo for every two pages. The photos are cute and need no words to bring a smile to my face so I could have done without the cute captions added; some of which were placed DIRECTLY ON THE PHOTOS themselves! FYI-There are some wonderful dachshund notecards available through Amazon with 4 of the book photos. I would definitely recommend those.

The absolute best books of dog photos I have ever seen are PRINCE AND OTHER DOGS and PRINCE AND OTHER DOGS II by Libby Hall. A must-have for any dog lover.

Summary: Dachshunds rule!
Review: When you start gushing about the dachshunds featured in this delightful book, your friends and family will conclude that you've lost it. But let's face it: If dachshunds are a part of your world, you voluntarily relinquished your sanity a long time ago. In these sepia-toned images, photographer Jim Dratfield captures that peculiar mix of devotion and bossiness that permits dachshunds to get away with running our households and our lives. Also recommended: The Day of the Dachshund note cards, which feature the best photos from the book. Woof!

Summary: The Joy of Dox
Review: When you start gushing about the dachshunds featured on these delightful elongated note cards, your friends and family will conclude that you've lost it. But let's face it: If dachshunds are a part of your world, you voluntarily relinquished your sanity a long time ago. On these 17 sepia-toned cards, photographer Jim Dratfield captures that peculiar mix of devotion and bossiness that permits dachshunds to get away with running our households and our lives. Also recommended: Mr. Dratfield's fine book, The Day of the Dachshund, from which the note-card photos were culled.
