Review: I am a collector of decorating books. I have more than 50 such books, and that's after weeding out some of my older titles. But Jean LemMon's new book is my all time favorite! With this book, she has captured the heart of what it takes to turn a house into a home. Usually I "connect" with half or maybe one third of the homes featured in a decorating book. Every single room portrayed in this book grabbed me and touched something within. I can't recommend this book highly enough! I sure hope Ms. LemMon is already at work on Volume 2!

Review: The homes and rooms in this book are charming and beautiful but the book is very helpful also. This is how most people wish their homes looked. The book pictures one room after another, many with timeless cottage character, and all conveying heartfelt charm. This definitely isn't a schmaltzy book but just a book filled with great style and practical, charming decorating ideas and tips.

Review: This is a very special book. It's beautiful and shows rooms that are timelessly bright and cozy and comfortable, which is what I would expect, but it also has a warmth and emotion that is hard to find in decorating books. The book also has a practical side with lots of advice on how to decorate to make your home full of heart and warmth and comfort.
