Review: I began training English Cocker Spaniels in the field some 14 yrs ago. A friend turned me onto this book and it has become my bible for training flushing spaniels. It is very common sense an even if you have never trained a spaniel before it is easy to follow. It also has a wonderful section on each breed which is of great help to those wanting to choose a spaniel hunting companion. Jim Spencer has made it easy for anyone to train a hunting companion in the field. Thanks Jim.
