Review: First book I got on paper foundation...and will probably be the best one! Easy to follow instructions, and the BEST patterns! Carol really makes it easy to learn and do this type of quilting.

Summary: Good variety of patterns and applications.
Review: I bought this book 15 months or so ago and loved it from the start. What look to be complicated and tricky designs are really straight-forward. There are coloured pages of striking combinations to demonstrate possibilities along with instructions if you want to copy. Otherwise you can have a lot of fun making up your own from the good variety of patterns/settings. I love foundation piecing and Ms Doak's patterns have been straight-forward to sew and pleasing to look at.

Review: I found this to be a great beginner book. I took a class in paper piecing and used this book many times to cement the procedure in my head.
I highly recommend having this book in your quilting library.
