Rating: Summary: This book has really helped this beginner! Review: I've had my wheaton puppy for a week and read this book a week before bringing him home. I must say this week has gone a lot easier for me by reading this book. I have other puppy training books but this one has been the most helpful as it focuses more on the needs and traits of this breed. Also, the book is small and the writing gets to the point which makes it a handy "field manual". I have referred to it numerous times in the past week and it will probably see more use in the coming years than most any book on my bookshelf.
Rating: Summary: Just percect! Review: This book is just perfect. Though our Wheaten Terrier is not our first dog and not our first Terrier, we still learnt a lot of new stuff helping us to raise this dream dog.
Rating: Summary: Helpful Guide for New Owners Review: This book is much better than most breed specific guides in that the entire book appears to have been written specifically about Wheatens, not just a few chapters fitted into an all-purpose book. And the author knows her subject very well. The book includes a lot of practical information on training, feeding, grooming, even breeding and showing a Wheaten Terrier. It also has many beautiful color pictures. I highly recommend it for those interested in this wonderful breed.
