There are a variety of patterns, and they are more suitable for someone who does have some stitching experience. They are color-coded and easy to read. The patterns show Santa Clause in different cultural representations. They can look brand new or as if they have been passed down through the generations. Each pattern also includes a short history of that particular legend of Santa Clause. These are wonderful patterns to stitch for yourself or as a special gift. I have owned my copy for years and was lucky enough to find this for my sister-in-law who is a Santa pattern collector.
