Review: This book is THE authoritative text on Senegals and the Poicephalus parrots. I have a rescue Senegal that is an absolute sweetie, thanks in part to this book. The author offers in depth explanations of behavior as well as preventive measures to avoid problem behaviors from developing. Anyone who has a Poicephalus parrot should get this book. It, along with her other books (A Well Behaved Parrot and Guide to Companion Parrot Behavior) are absolutely essential reading. I can't recommend it enough. You won't regret it (even the pictures are great!)
