Rating: Summary: A Gem Review: I couldnt put this book down right from the start. I was idly shopping and glanced at the spine, grabbed the book and was amazed. The projects within are designed to bring a calm and peace to your daily life. The photographs are marvelous and rich with detail. The instructions are easy to follow for anyone making these crafts. Some of the wonderful projects which you can create with this book are, a smudge pot, a portable altar, a dream decanter, a tarot pouch, mexican retablos, a beautiful beaded vial and soooooo much more. I find this book invalueable no matter what your spiritual path may be
Rating: Summary: Creative Spirit! Review: This book has some marvelous and creative ideas for crafts to use in any spiritual practice. They aren't overly simple, but the directions are easy and the products wonderful to make.
Rating: Summary: Nice book if you have the resources... Review: This is a beautiful book that will inspire you to create. The only problem is that it seems like you need to have a lot of materials to create these projects. There are really only TWO of these that I would find myself making: The travel altar and the chakra bracelet. These are two of the simplest ones. I would love to make the smudge pots, but you have to build your own kiln if you don't have one available. Then a few of the other projects you need a sewing machine for. Then on a few of the other ones you have to use a saw, drills and some lumber. This may appeal to some, but for those of us on budgets and looking for some simple projects, you won't really find it here!
Rating: Summary: An Invitation to the Spiritual Review: This is such an amazing book of projects and crafts which truly do enhance your spiritual life. Each and every project from the low fire kiln to the dream decanter is a wonderfull idea. My personal favorite however was the portable altar. Everyopne can benefit in some way from reading this book.
