Review: I share my home with three Dachshunds and bought this book with skepticism as I don't consider myself an Idiot! However, I really do like this book. The author obviously knows our breed and has tailored the standard Idiot's guide format to the breed. There was some good research done, and great information for both new Dachshund owners and experienced ones. I particularly liked the information on health threats Dachsies face. This book is well worth its cost!

Review: This is a really great book for beginners like me! I have had dogs my entire life but never had a Dachshund and this book really helped me understand the unique ways of these great dogs! I highly recommend it to anyone who want to get or already has a dachshund!
