Rating: Summary: A wonderful technical volume Review: This is a really great book for learning to draw fashion. It is organized into three sections: Drawing the Figure, Drawing the Garments and Rendering the Fabrics. It goes step-by-step though all the basics of drawing fashion. It covers everything such as heads, hands and feet, men, children, different silhouettes, and all sorts of fabrics and textures, really getting into the technique of drawing. The drawbacks are that the figures are kind of odd and the fashions drawn are from 1985, which seem ugly to us now, so it's not a source of artistic inspiration. However, I think it's the best fashion illustration book out there. It covers all the basics and then some.
