Review: I've been collecting books about making paper. Some are long and complex - more than a novice crafter even wants to know. Some books use terms or materials that are difficult or confusing. Some leave you with many questions. Polly's little book tackles teaching you to make paper the most directly of all the books I've read. She's got a photograph for every single step in the process and the materials are simple and accessible. The herb portion is interesting and will make you want to experiment. I was just so thrilled that this little book was so definitive enough that it could give me the confidence to really try papermaking.
