Rating: Summary: A Wonderful Source for Ideas and Inspiration Review: I have bought this book as gifts for my quilting friends. It is remarkable with varied projects such as T-shirt quilts, photo-transfer quilts and many beautiful signature quilts. The photos and the stories behind the quilts were interesting and inspiring.

Rating: Summary: Wow! Great close-ups, detailed diagrams & wonderful stories. Review: I was so excited to receive my copy last Saturday, that I sat out on the deck and read it cover to cover. My interest in antique quilts always has me wondering, "Why did the quiltmaker do it that way?" This book tells the stories behind the quilt and where the inspiration began. The detailed instructions for each quilt are excellent. The quotes and verses as filler throughout the book are a nice added touch. The choice for the books cover, in itself invites you to explore the pages inside!! I am, however, partial to "Cardinals in Friendship Pines" on page 64-67. A thank you to all my friends and relatives who made blocks, of one inch squares, to complete the quilt I always wanted to make.
