It was very informative and went into detail about everything from what to look for when purchasing your dog, the history of the breed, and the proper care for it. It's nice to have a book as a reference instead of having to do research on the internet to find things out about my wonderful dog! I definitely recommend reading it if you have or are thinking about purchasing a Hovawart of your own.
