Review: This is a real treasure; not only do you get to meet Blanche Beau and peek into her lace notebook, but you get the lace all charted for ease of knitting.

I love antique knitting patterns but going through the non-standard notations written out line-by-line can be tedious. The modernized charting makes the lace accessible. You can never have enough stitch patterns for lace edgings for shawls and pillows. Really lovely.
