Rating: Summary: Simply amazing Review: Issei Yoshino was an Origami virtuoso who, unfortunately, passed away in his early 30s. One of his legacies was this magnificent model. For people acquainted with Montroll, Lang, Maekawa, and other masters works, the components should not pose a big challenge. The model is laborious because it involves making several components, but the good news is that they are all made from the same size square. Once it is done, the display is certain to marvel all the ones who see it. This book makes for a fine addition to anybody's Origami library.I highly recommend it!
Rating: Summary: Simply Amazing Review: This is not the first dinosaur skeleton made from several sheets of paper and it is not the last. What makes this one stand head and shoulders above the rest is that the artist set out to create one where all of the pieces were made from the same size piece of paper. It is much easier to get a bunch of paper the same size than to cut and trim for multiple sizes. The directions are clear and easy to understand as they take you through first folding the individual pieces and then assembling the final skeleton. The entire project takes a bit of time but does not need to be done all at once and no step can be said to be really hard (there's just a lot of them). All in all this is a very nice model and a well-designed book. It should bring plenty of enjoyment to anyone who attempts it.
