Granted, the book is presented with a decidedly American Christmas slant, but with separate chapters addressing door and window treatments, mantel pieces, table settings, tree decorations, and holiday desserts, there are several elegant decorations which could be suitable for just about any festive, non-denominational atmosphere. While there is a general lack of diagrams to guide you through the steps, each project does includes simple directions, a helpful list of required materials, and lovely photographs giving a full-color example of each finished piece. --George Laney
