Review: And I say that with great affection and deep understanding for all the rank-beginner ultra-dummies like me out there! I too am just about ready to get every other book that ever comes out in this series, as some of the other reviewers here mentioned. And unlike sooo many other patterns or books, this one actually includes tasteful, elegant pillow designs and ideas, not just ditsy-cutesy stuff. Fun, easy, useful learning -- can't beat that!

Review: Being a beginner, many sewing books (I have about 8 reference books!) are too advanced and ambitious for me and take for granted that everyone knows all the sewing terms. This book is such a no brainer that I am thinking of getting the rest of the series.

Review: I used this book for my first sewing project, and successfully created 2 pillows in an afternoon! Clear and Easy, with good explanations of sewing terms. I'd definitly recommend it to the beginning audience.
