Rating: Summary: Umm, it's a book from a model company in a series devoted to Review: model-builders. The purpose of this book is to show all of the nuts and bolts of the Apache for people building model-kits of the helicopter. It does not give technical data or show action shots, rather it is an exhaustive photo-collection of the Apache. It does that very well. It's a good buy for anyone building a model of the Apache who wants to super-detail the heck out of it.

Rating: Summary: EXPECTING SOMETHING BETTER Review: The title works good for scale modelers, but not for the aviation enthusiast or helicopter buff. Despite what the cover-shot suggests, there is only a single photo, depicting the Apache in the air. All other photos are static, while only a very few of them show some kind of action (with people, like pilots or technicians, included in). About 90% of the photos depict some details of the helicopter, and most seem to have been taken inside a hangar! Only 7 photos show the whole of the airframe. On the plus side of the book, are the very good captions (bearing in mind that there is no text, other than a short foreward!), and the use of many diagrams taken of the Operator's Manual. I would definetley expect something better, given the price of this 36-pages booklet.
