Review: I bought this book because I saw it online and reviewed some of the pages beforehand. One particular quilt in the book caught my eye...I had the "perfect" fabrics in mind for it. The title of the quilt I made was "Star Bright" on page 24. A traditional looking "cockeyed" star. I used Bali/batik fabrics with a dark background fabric. I think mine looks better than the one in the book! This was an inspirational book--sparked my creativity and gave me the chance to use fabrics I wouldn't normally use. Directions were well written (unlike some quilt books!) The quilt I made was only my second one ever! If you have never made an "ART" quilt and would like to make something really cool, fresh, and hip...Get this book.
