Review: For the Dresden Plate quilt on the cover of the book, the yardage stated for the batting, backing, and background fabrics is wrong! The amount given is only enough for the blocks. The borders are supposed to be cut from the same fabrics. Also, the size and number for the border edge squares is incorrect. I could have saved my money and made up my own pattern considering how much time I have wasted figuring out where this pattern went wrong! I also noticed the Basket of Kitties quilt applique for the flowers says to cut out 6 each and it should be 12.....
This book has nice pictures and good ideas, but apparently, nobody checked the accuracy of the patterns. Making the Dresden Plate quilt should have been fast and easy, but has caused nothing but headaches! Don't waste your time or money on this book!
