ME For The Love Of Books

Summary: Adorable set, perfect as a child gift set, not for adults
Review: I had this item on my wish list and finally bought it only to find that it didn't live up to my expectations. Still, as a diehard ME fan who loves book accessories, I do like the set.

The set is very well made and created to really last. The exterior is of very hard construction that reminded me of a heavy cigar box shaped like a book. Inside there is a bookmark with a little machine embroidery on it. a deck of book plates, a small notebook to keep track of your favorite books, and a little pad of lending pages. The only thing I don't like about this set is the bookplates. They are very small and the design on them is a more childish design that you might find pasted into a child's book - specifically a little girl's book. I think the only part of this set that I would ever use would be the little notebook.

If you are thinking of winter holiday gift giving, this would be very well suited to giving to your favorite little girl, granddaughter, niece, or other little girl on your gift giving list. If you have a little girl on your gift giving list who loves books, this would be the perfect present. It is far more suited to a child rather than an adult. Oh, and don't give it to a boy - all the designs feature a little girl.

Review: When I read the desription of this item, I ordered it right away, only to be disappointed when I received it. The Bookmark is nothing as it is desribed in the details. The description is very misleading. Maybe this is an idea gift for a child, and not the adult book lover.
