Rating: Summary: Found Gold Review: Great information guide, on how to find gold in Washington State. Worked the Snohomish river system and found gold. Have now really got the gold bug, I am waiting for the next book on disk to come out for more information and places to go and explore. Hope he comes out with a book to go rock hounding in Washington State. If your new or old hat at gold prospecting this book is for you...
Rating: Summary: Gone gold hunting Review: I got this e-book at Chrismas and popped it into my computer. It was a short book but simple to read. Am going out to find some nuggets this weekend. The writer said to wear safety gear near a river. Not a bad idea considering the rain we have been gettting lately. The word is they are finding nose picking size nuggets near Skykomish and Gold Bar areas. I am on my way to get it all before the next guys do.

Rating: Summary: I actually found some gold with this book. Review: I have been out using metal detectors and tried pannin before but not as easy as this guy made it for me. His book is simple, straight forward and detailed. It dont mess around with nonsense information. It answered my questions right away and I even found some gold at Green River Gorge...right where he said it would be. I would reccomend this book to anyone. Reggie Smith Ravensdale, WA USA
Rating: Summary: I was able to pay for this book with the gold I found! Review: I signed in and read the latest revue from the guy saying he bought the book and had a Mac and no IBM to view it with. He should have read the item description and cover carefully, becuz it said right on it that it was IBM version only! Maybe the gold fever got to him. It certainly got to me...but I was able to think afterwards. I found a few nuggets at Palmer Kanasket State Park this Saturday (December 28) using the gold pan my wife got me for Chrismas and this field guide. I'm hooked and goin out next weekend and every weekend til it's all mine! This guy s book reads easily and I took it out from my printer and got it all dirty, then threw it out later. I printed a fresh copy from my printer when I got home. How many books can you do that with....even automotive books? I give it 10 stars cuz it was so good. I highly recommend it.
Rating: Summary: Informative Review: This book led me right to a good spot near Enumclaw on the plateau where the Green River bends towards the gorge. There is gold in the area where he said it would be. I will take my metal detecter next time. I think the area is perfect for nugget hunting.
Rating: Summary: Reader from Wahington Review: This little "book" is supposed to be 21 pages. After the title page, introduction, sections on gold separation from black sand, recycling gold and silver, and melting down gold you come to a section with information on clubs you can join and then places to buy equipment. This is okay, but not about where to find gold in Washington State. The actual section with information on where to find gold in Washington State is 1 1/2 pages long if printed in 14 point font. So it is basically one page of not particularly helpful information. Very general and the locations are in areas where there is a lot of private property and mining claims.
Rating: Summary: There's Gold In Them Their Hills! Review: Wow! This is the book you've been waiting for. Shean's new book takes you step by step from being a novice recreation prospector to how to make a few bucks from this hobby. This book's a gem and worth its wait in gold.
