Rating: Summary: The Best Ever Made Review: I have been collecting paper money for more than 15 years and i had and still have many old catalogues for that hobby, but that book wipped them all, it is so deep and general at the same time. you find what ever you want. I bought that book 2 weeks ago, and it was more than i expected it to be. I realy advice starters and old collecters to own one or else their collection will be poor and unidentified correctly, as the house library would be poor without that book (for collectors of course). Thanks.
Rating: Summary: This is the first book you should buy on World Paper Money. Review: If you are a new collector of foreign paper currency, buy this book first. If you are old hand at collecting currency, this is the book you should buy every time a new edition is released. Features all new countries at the time of printing.
Rating: Summary: #1 for a collector - your social science's extra year. Review: The book is of a great use not only for a bank note collector, but also for educational purposes, as it includes a brief history of every listed country, written numerals, dating systems even exchange rates of various countries. Paper money images serve as a great educational material about world's famous people, buildings, scenes from history and many more. Everyone may even use it for identifying various paper notes.

Rating: Summary: Many repeated errors, missing listings, text and valuations Review: This book is exactly as Editor writes: "Most comprehensive world paper money book AVAILABLE on modern issues...". I would say, - there is no other, better book, so we have to use this one. I have looked through some pages of it and I already found quite a few blunders. First of all there are quite a few misleading price valuations, I would even say many price manipulations. In one half page I found two strong blunders. Kazakhstan #18 has no price values. Kazakhstan #17 has Kenya image instead. Lithuania 200 Litu 1997 are valued at $50 which is an exchange rate. Swiss latest notes are valued below exchange rate if you consider the bank exchange fee. Ivory Coast (page 828) 500 and 1000 Francs 1961-65 mysteriously disappeared. These are just few examples. I noticed many such blunders in the previous editions of this and other books. No ERRATA is being printed. Any self-respecting publisher prints errata pages and puts them in a book, or even sends Errata (corrections) pages to all their customers and book owners. The book was published carelessly. Some colourful images (not so important to a professional) were added, but what's most important is the text info and price valuations. If you make a car and make a small mistake it will crash. Same with this catalogue, if you make so many blunders, errors, mistakes, it becomes worthless of the money we are paying for it. This book is important to a beginner and as well to a professional. With so many errors and blunders it is little use of this book. We still have to use it, cause there is no other catalogue for All World's Paper Money, but making so many errors and blunders shows that the publisher of this book does not care much about what the reader gets from it. Also why not issue this book on a Compact Disc with an ability for a user to CHANGE the text ,so that everyone could correct the publisher's blunders themselves!
