Review: I had almost given up on quilting by hand because I just wasn't satisfied with the results I got. I had resigned myself to being a machine quilter only, when I happened on this book at a quilt show. Thinking I had nothing to lose, I bought it, took it home, read it, practiced Ami's techniques for a few hours and I've never looked back. No matter how many people had tried to show me how to hand quilt, or how many other books I had read on the subject, no one laid it out as clearly and concisely, step-by-step, as Ami. I've since gone on to make many quilts-all hand-quilted- with stitches I'm proud to say have been admired by many! So if you're new to quilting,or even if you're not, this book is an absolute must for every quilter's bookshelf.
