Review: This book is filled with fantastic ideas for creating and designing non traditional quilts.

Summary: The title doesn't lie - truly an inspiring book!
Review: This book is the "must have" for quilters looking to break out of the traditional mold. Many books by artists rely on a knowledge of art that few of us who are not artists have, and show page after page of beautiful creations with only vague references to technique and inspiration. Inspiration Odyssey, on the other hand, tells us not only where to find inspiration, but what to do with it once it's been found! Not just another project book, this book provides insight into the mind of the artist - where she gets her inspirations, how she interprets them, how she documents, evolves, and executes a design, and some of the final products. This is an artist's book for the non-artist. Finally, a book that gives some direction around the creative process! This is the first quilting book that I have been eager to read cover to cover - in fact, I can't put it down, and keep returning to its pages for new inspirations. A definite 10!
