Summary: Good manual for new chow owners
Review: We have several guides to owning a chow chow. This is the best, most informative manual that we've found. It has a good selection of photographs of chow chows and contains photographs and information on many useful products. In addition, this book provides extensive information on 1) what to look for when choosing your chow, 2) preparing your household for your pet, 3) feeding requirements, 4) healthcare, 5) housebreaking and 6) grooming. Most importantly, this book accurately describes the aggressive characteristics and destructive tendencies seen in some chows. There is a very good, all-important section on behavior modification techniques for curbing these negative tendencies. This is THE book for new chow owners.
