Review: Jan Dressler is absolutely amazing! She explains everything you need to know in easy to understand language without making you feel like you are in preschool. Her pictures are colorful and whimsical. I have done a little stenciling and it was okay. My very first project after reading this book was a very complicated and detailed stencil (trompe l'oeil) across an entire wall. I could not believe how fabulous it looked! Family and friends are just about speechless when they see my wall. Jan has her own line of stencils which are fabulous but she also gives information on other stencil companies in the book. She tells you what to look for when buying stencils. If you don't get a good stencil, your results will be awful. I can not recommend this book enough. If you only buy one book in your life about decorating your walls, BUY THIS ONE!
