Summary: The best. That's it. The best.
Review: The title tells it all, "Available" Rhodys. Although it has an extensive section on the species that are the parents of our modern hybrids, this book concentrates on rhodys that are or have been in the commercial trade. That means these are the rhodys we have in our gardens--plants that are relevant to us! The picture quality is excellent. This is the book to use if you are trying to identify an unknown rhody, or have just a name and want to know about the plant.

Summary: The 'bible' for rhodendron lovers!
Review: This book is the 'bible' for rhododendron lovers. It is arranged so that you can find almost any rhody you see in seconds and read about the plants habits, hardiness, color, and for hybrids, it's parent plants. The photographs are excellent. There are sections on the history of rhododendron culture, care and feeding, and deseases of the plants. Our copy is so 'dog-eared' we're are going to have to buy another copy soon
