Summary: Must have - One of the best livebearer books ever written
Review: Do not be deceived by the size nor price. A very unique book that reminds one of the old "Fishkeepers Guide" series (which are excellent if you can buy them used). Not a beginners-only book by any means, seasoned hobbyists will find information in here they never knew. Most likely this is becuase it is a UK book, and not the same old rehash. This is alao the first livebearer book in in over 10 years, so the information is fresh. Very colorful and good layout. While it only covers a few species, its brilliance is that is covers every GENUS. Once you know a genus, you pretty much have a handle on all species - to an extent. The information on every genus in the four groups (halfbeaks, goodeids, poecillid, anableps) is both interesting and informative. If you're a livebearer fan, this book is a must have.
