Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Paper-Pieced Curves Made Easy
Review: This is a great book and a wonderful new concept I have been wanting to try. There are eight projects offered, rated in difficulty, and surprisingly easy to follow if you understand the fundamentals of paper piecing. Jodie's cutting charts are very helpful. With the cutting dimensions and number of pieces needed given for each project, preparing to begin sewing is a breeze. And the results are delightful as I tried one of the easiest rated patterns and then moved onto one of the most difficult - difficult only because of inset seams. Since the book is project oriented, Jodie also covers several bindings including prairie points.

Do not be put off by Jodie's 3 very brief paragraphs on paper piecing curved seams. I found them difficult to comprehend and the adjacent pictures were of no help at all. After a third reading and some thought, however, I just jumped in and figured out the missing details as I went along. It was easy, as Jodie promised, and got easier as I got into the individual blocks.
