The book is well written and the information is helpful but trust me you can get the same information and more on the internet at no cost to you. I did.

Summary: You CAN'T plan a destination wedding without this book!!
Review: There are hundreds of books out there about planning weddings, but few offer help for elopements or destination weddings. This is the best I've seen. There are tons of useful tips about everything from obtaining a license, "peak" and "off peak" months for different geographic regions, packing your wedding attire, wording announcements, and especially places to go and who to contact when you get there. I have at least three books on destination weddings and this is Far and Away the BEST!! Denise and Alan also have a fabulous web site!

Review: This book is just what it says it is -- advice for planning your wedding from long-distance. Full of practical tips including questions to ask vendors, strategies if you can only make one visit to the site, etc. Good value!
