Review: This book is such a huge disappointment. I had hoped it would be a good, basic primer for kirigami and making pop-up cards, with some inspired projects to aspire to, maybe even attempt. The designs are uninspired and uninteresting. The layout is busy and seemed unfocused. It might appeal to some children, though I've seen far better works aimed at children, so I wouldn't recommend this book for kids or adults.

The Kirigami page-a-day calendar is a better choice as a kirigami primer, especially if you enjoy the symmetry and delicate beauty of cut paper designs.
