Review: As a huge fan of period paper dolls, I was impressed with this collection. The book contains 8 dolls - 4 girls and 4 guys. Each girl has 5 to 6 outfits and Tierney gives detailed descriptions of the models' personality types. The men do not have any clothes, but each character clearly represents the various types of men in this time period. I enjoyed this collection because it gives good examples of what the women of this period might have worn without adhering to only the "flapper" girl. The descriptions also give complete fashion guides for those who are interested in the designers and fabrics. I also enjoyed Tierney's explanation of the moral and social standings of the twenties. This is a charming collection!
