  Summary: Best Book On Canes I've Ever Read ... Hawley Strikes Home!
 Review: I can't believe they made the guy use a cane. Hawley gives us a perfect perspective of what life in a paperweight is like. Glassy. Classy? I have incorperated this work into my class on modern day anthropomorphism. I applaud his efforts. I particularly enjoyed his passage, "Affliction makes opposing forces loom anthropomorphously." Perhaps he could work these ideas into a dramatic work about a family who's father has abandoned them and they live in St. Louis, in a state of paralysis as they struggle to find happiness.
