Review: I can't believe it took centuries for someone to realize that our wedding vows need help in remaining meaningful through the long haul of marriage. "Loving Vows" is the unique and masterful aid we've needed. Each chapter focuses on one specific wedding promise--be it traditional or contemporary--then there's a wealth of beautiful, yet extremely helpful vows that explain how to keep that promise through the day-to-day reality of marriage. My favorite chapters are: "I Promised to Cherish" & "I Promised For Better or For Worse" & "I Promised Faithfulness" & "I Promised to Make Your Family My Own" and "I Promised the Best I Can Be."You won't believe the endless originality of this book and the multitude of insightful suggestions toward keeping a love relationship strong. Because this book has already helped Michael and I through a difficult situation, I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to give greater meaning and longevity to their wedding promises.
