Summary: Don't Bother!!! Are you a beginner?Buy A Better Book!!!
Review: I did LIKE some of the information on oils and there is a lot here listed for recipes and suppliers! A couple were interesting... That's what gave this book the rating it got.
Otherwise... I give it a D-I am an experienced soapmaker and because of this I didn't expect much... and that's what I got! Not Much! And unfortunately that is what a beginner will get too!!! I thought I had a download error because many of the bottoms of the pages for the listed suppliers were cut off or incomplete... Not a download problem, but an editing problem. Many of the suppliers are out-of-date as some were out of business or not available. The recipes are really unorganized and I question their quality, especially for a beginner. A 1 lb recipe called for 1/4 cup of gound oatmeal and 1/4 cup of raspberry seeds OUCH!!! I have to wonder if the author actually made or tested these recipes. I doubt it. Or if so, has low standards for her soap quality. Only 1 page of instructions! Nuff said! BUY A BETTER BOOK! YOU CAN'T RETURN AN EBOOK FOR A REFUND!

Summary: I can FINALLY make my own soap!
Review: I'm glad I didn't go by the previous reviewer! I enjoyed this book as well and found it to be quite informative in helping me get started in making soap. I can see that if you have experience making soap then you probably won't need this book because you already are familiar with the basic concepts. However, for a newbie, what a great way to begin. Some of the suppliers are out of business now but that obviously can't be helped. An author has no control over that. I started with some of the more simpler recipes and have found much success with the recipes. I have tried at least 10 of the various soap recipes in this ebook and have not had one problem yet!! Several of the batches are still "curing" but they look great!! I would definitely recommend this book to others!
