Review: This book is NOT for the beginner in ceramics/glaze formulation. "A Potter's Pallette" is better for beginners with glaze. After studying glazes and their make-up, this is a logical continuation with ample photos of results with differing chemistry. It allows someone with some experience and a working knowledge of clays and glazes to move forward into dissecting exactly what causes what. A good basis for one starting to mix their own glazes

Review: Written in simple English, this book is user friendly and practical. The progressive illustrations are very well done. What a beautiful journey it is.
