Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Pretty Good
Review: As long as you don't pay too much, this gives you some great ideas.....and some silly ones, that do NOT appeal to me, but might aPPEAL to others. It also has a few recipes for treats etc.
Some of the indoor exercises are simple ones we might not have thought of and lead you to think up more. As long as you pick a low price, it is DEFINITELY worth it!!! I liked it and am using some of the ideas myself with my Elmo.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Fun, fun, FUN . . . 'til your daddy takes the bird dog away
Review: This little book is great fun. I have given away copies as gifts to fellow dog lovers, and it always brings a smile. It especially makes a nice little welcome gift for a new dog owner. Even better, the book's simple, easy-to-read design makes it a great book for kids.

Frankly, kids probably love this book more than anyone, because children take the silly stuff in it quite seriously. I've seen it keep many a grade-schooler busy for days, especially the projects like making treats, learning doggy massage, or decorating t-shirts. For this reason, this book is especially wonderful for parties or scouting projects.

A friend of mine gave her daughter a puppy for her birthday by hiding the puppy at a neighbor's house and giving her daughter this book, alone. At first, her daughter seemed puzzled . . . but you should have heard the screams of joy when she realized the book is just for dog owners.

"Mom! Did you buy me a PUPPY?!"

What could be better than this? (Except, of course, the puppy.)

You'll find everything from (would you believe) dancing with your dog . . . to building a doghouse. There is a lot of entertainment here -- some of it silly, some of it practical, all of it FUN.

If, in addition to feel-good novelty books, you have an interest in serious dog training, the finest, most loving books on the market are the ones written by The Monks of New Skete. They understand dogs down to the soul.

From one dog lover to another (mine are Dachshunds): Enjoy!
