Psychic Pet: Supernatural True Stories of Paranormal Animals

Review: I was always a skeptic of pet paranormal abilities until my dog went missing and I read this book. Two weeks ago my precious little chihuahua named Watusi started acting funny. Far from being the pleasant mild mannered dog that I had grown to love, Watusi would savagely bite my fingers and toes, bark all day and night, and defecate and urinate all over the house (he has been house trained for some time). My cousin who was visiting from California is an in- tune natural pathic doctor (N.D.) who is into yoga and claims to be able to see a being's aura. Anyways, my cousin said that Watusi had spoken telepathically to him. Watusi said that he was angry because he was recently "fixed." My cousin then suggested that I let Watusi reconnect with nature and mourn his loss by letting him stay in the back yard for a week. He also suggested that I read this book to bone up on my pet paranormal knowledge. I did these things, and Watusi was missing after the first night.

I can't say that I really miss the dog that much after dealing with all of his recent tantrums. The weird thing is that on the night that Watusi went missing, something strange happened. I had an out- of- body experience where I floated out of my bedroom and watched the spaceship land in my back yard. Moktahr was the leader of the 2 foot tall greyish colored aliens that were decked out in what looked like purple satin leisure suits. I noticed that the alien's head looked like that of my chihuahua. Moktahr then telepathically told me that his alien race, the brohemians, were distant relatives of chihuahuas. He also told me that he would be taking Watusi back to his mother spaceship were Watusi would be subjected to medical expirements. Moktahr then told me that his civilization was so advanced that the brohemians could determine who would win next season's Survivor tv contest. I was shocked. Then, in a flash of bright white light, the u.f.o. rocketed off my back yard and I woke up in a cold sweat. I initially thought it was a weird dream caused by sipping three glasses of chianti the night before.

I looked out my window. The dog was gone! A miniature crop circle was etched into my lawn where the spaceship had landed. Pet paranormal activity is very REAL!

This book has comforted me. Now I know that I am not alone. I can't wait for the author's next book. Hopefully it will provide tips on talking telepathically to pets that are cruising around distant galaxies

Summary: Lots of fun and spooky too!
Review: This book is REALLY, REALLY cool! The stories are short but exciting and mysterious, not to mention true! There's an assessment at the end of each one that asks you to decide if the animal was actually a psychic or not. There are also a bunch of awesome and simple tests to determine if YOUR pet has powers! (Turns out I have a psychic maltese!) Even if you don't fully believe the stories, read it anyway. It's full of interesting facts and just plain fun!
