Review: I am a dog behaviorist but I love to collect old breed and training books. The other day I came across this book and browsed through it. I could not believe the crap in this book, tabasco on your dogs gums for soiling in the house? Slap him real hard so that he knows he did wrong? Put vinegar on his nose so that he knows it is your house and not his? Time we educate the public with some kind and intelligent ways to train our dogs.

Review: There is no reason in the world to resort to these kinds of tactics to train your dog -- even the independent breeds. I'm appalled.
