Summary: A very well laid out book, perfect for beginners
Review: I found this book at our local library and liked it so well that I am purchasing my own copy. Basically it is laid out in a step by step manner with pictures of each with detailed instructions. The author even gives a list of equipment that is needed right down to the threads and needles that will give you the best results. What I really like about the book is the two-parts; one is for making wall hangings and the second part is appropriate for quilts. For me this was important so that I do not have to sort out which instructions are referring to my project. For beginners in applique this is THE book.
