Review: This is mainly a photo book. Out of 88 pages, about 43 are dedicated to photos of the same red coupe. And although it's a nice car, it's not a concours car. The engine, chassis, and suspension photos show a car that's been driven (as a Ferrari should be). Although there are a few interesting shots of prototype Daytonas, this is not the book for learning a great deal about the car. There are only 12 pages of text, plus a bit less than 4 pages of driving impressions from Paul Frere. You can learn more from old Road & Track issues.

If you want a Daytona book, try to find "The Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona" by Braden and Roush (Osprey ISBN 0-930880-07-2). That is the definitive reference for the Daytona.
