Review: This journal is very detailed and has squares EVERYWHERE for you to place pictures of your pet. It would be great to accompany a new cat or kitten given as a gift, as it balances important information with places for you to fill in all the funny ways cats bring joy into your life. Each chapter has pocket sleeves and various places for you to record specific information, as well as any rambling notes. The chapters are Preparations (What are you taking on, How much does a cat cost?, The right cat for you, Finding your cat, Equipment and preparation, etc.), The New Arrival (Naming your kitten, Introducing your kitten to other pets, General household dangers, etc.), Living Together (Communicating, Rest and play, Litter training, Problem behavior, etc.), Bright-Eyed (Signs of good health, Grooming, A balanced diet, etc.), Vet Visits (Finding a veterinarian, Family planning, Illnesses and surgeries, etc.), Born & Bred (Breeding, The Litter, Family Tree, etc.), On the Move (Travels with your cat, Moving to a new home, caretakers, etc.), and Nine Lives (Personal details, photo pages, etc.). I find this book very useful, information, and entertaining--even without the pictures of my cat!
