Review: I loved this new book so much that I emailed the author, Arden Franklin, to praise her! As the owner of nearly every book that gives ideas about how to use vintage fabrics, this is clearly the best. The two things that set it apart from other books:
1. it actually shows clothing that you'd want to wear in public and home decor that is perfect for a cottage-style home; and 2. the perfectly drawn layouts are easy to follow. I'm always nervous about cutting into vintage linens/fabrics -- but no more! Arden's book has clear drawings to assist in "making the first cut" fearlessly. The photography is beautiful, and the projects are charming. Bravo! I highly recommend it!
