Our Best Thread Crochet

Summary: "Best" is relative to the time period
Review: Separated into 4 different sections (The Charming Home, Keepsake Gifts, Baby Boutique and Christmas Pretties), there is a little bit of every type of thread project in this book and it would make a wonderful addition to the avid "threadies" collection.

Though this book has many merits, keep in mind that this is an older publication and a few of the designs are outdated. The term "Best" is perhaps relative to the time period as some of the designs are downright plain looking such as the "Showy Table Topper" and two "Doilies to Love". Still, there are some absolutely gorgeuos designs in this book including several beautiful edgings, a "Delicate Doily", a sophisticated "Floral Table Runner", a "Timeless Tablecloth", "Victorian Sachets" and my personal favorite, pretty "Strawberry Lace Set" for a darling baby girl.
